John has been a licensed Realtor since 2002 and has sat on numerous professional committees with the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Realtors. He has also been involved with numerous volunteer activities within his community such as organizing the Mount Pearl Snow Brigade during Snowmageddon in 2020 and was a coach and league convener with the Mount Pearl Soccer Association for 11 years. John has been the Chair of the Board of Directors for Admiralty House Communications Museum since 2013. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Memorial University of Newfoundland. John and his wife Jody, their daughter Maddy, and their Shih Tzu Prudence have called Mount Pearl their home since 2001.
